You will be responsible for roof-mounted solar installations, system commissioning, material management, and ensuring every installation complies with company safety standards, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and applicable building codes.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall residential solar energy systems, including array layout, racking, modules, and system componentsLoad and unload materials at the warehouse and job site, ensuring all necessary materials are organized and availableInstall and commission solar energy systems according to engineering plans, manufacturer specifications, and site conditionsInstall mounting hardware, roof attachments, flashing, and weatherproofing to maintain system integrityFollow the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and company installation standardsSafely operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and installation equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve installation issues encountered in the fieldPerform quality inspections throughout the installation process to ensure workmanship meets company standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and stocked company vehicleDocument installation progress using mobile devices and job management applicationsCommunicate effectively with crew members, homeowners, and management throughout the installation processFollow all company safety policies and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentAssist with new installations and other related duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum 1+ year of hands-on residential solar installation experienceAbility to install roof-mounted residential solar systems safely and efficientlyAbility to work on roofs, ladders, attics, and confined spaces in all weather conditionsKnowledge of residential roofing practices, mounting systems, and proper waterproofing techniquesAbility to read and interpret basic installation plans and construction documentsProficiency safely handling power and hand tools, ladders, inverters, panels, batteries, lumber, and roofing materialsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedlyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to use mobile devices for documentationProven track record of reliable attendanceValid driver's license requiredMust pass background check and drug screeningPerks & Benefits15 days PTO + paid holidaysMaternity and parental leaveMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid training and professional developmentPerformance-based bonuses
