Overview

Property Management, Inc. is seeking a motivated Residential Compliance Specialist to join their Affordable Residential Division in Camp Hill, PA. This full-time role involves ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations and supporting property management teams across various regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and approve applicant eligibility for affordable housing programs
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and other regulations
  • Conduct file audits for move-ins, annual recertifications, and unit transfers
  • Provide guidance and training to property staff on compliance procedures
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and investors
  • Communicate with property management regarding compliance expectations
  • Stay current on changes to affordable housing regulations
  • Maintain applicant and resident confidentiality
  • Travel to properties for on-site assistance as needed

Required skills

  • 2-3 years' experience with multi-family residential subsidized housing
  • Working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, HOME, RD, or other affordable housing programs
  • Certification for Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) preferred
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Valid PA Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma/GED
