Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and oversee the HR function, focusing on internal growth, talent management, and compliance with HR laws across multiple states. This hands-on leader will foster a high-performance culture and drive HR initiatives in a decentralized team environment supporting manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations including payroll, benefits, and HRIS
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics for decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated success in talent management and development
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
