Overview

The Regional Director of Human Resources at Rise Baking Company will lead and oversee the HR function, focusing on internal growth and employee advancement. This dynamic role involves driving talent management and ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws while fostering a high-performance culture across manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants
  • Foster a culture of high performance and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs
  • Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters
  • Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll and benefits
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Experience managing a decentralized team
  • Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record in talent management and succession planning
  • Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
