Overview

The Regional Commercial Tent and Rental Market Sales Representative will own a designated territory, focusing on driving revenue growth for inTENTional Systems, a company with over a century of experience in designing high-quality tents and structures. This role involves building relationships, expanding accounts, and representing the company in the field to enhance the customer experience and market presence.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and grow sales within an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans in alignment with leadership goals
  • Identify, research, and prospect new business opportunities and key decision-makers
  • Conduct cold calling, email outreach, and in-person sales visits to generate new opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, and distributors
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations
  • Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for expansion and upselling
  • Track pipeline activity, sales calls, and performance metrics using CRM systems
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Resolve customer issues by developing solutions and ensuring strong customer satisfaction
  • Provide feedback to leadership on product performance, pricing, and market needs
  • Participate in new product development discussions and field testing when needed
  • Represent the company at trade shows, dealer events, and customer visits
  • Travel throughout assigned territory (50%) and occasionally outside the region

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of outside B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and sales cycles simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand market dynamics and customer needs
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience in commercial tent, event rental, industrial, or government markets is a plus
