Overview

The Receiver Associate at FreshPoint South Florida is responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of produce, grocery, and miscellaneous items ordered. This role involves verifying received items for quantity and quality, as well as performing various warehouse activities and ensuring proper documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Physically inspect received products for weight, condition, temperature, and quality
  • Accurately count all items received
  • Tag products with slot labels and ensure proper rotation
  • Complete all necessary paperwork including purchase orders and spoilage logs
  • Manage work time efficiently and follow established procedures

Required skills

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and field-related software
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze numerical data
  • Physical endurance for frequent lifting of products up to 50 lbs and infrequent lifting up to 80 lbs
