Overview

ATC West Healthcare is looking for a locum Radiologist to fill in due to a resignation at a general acute care hospital in Grass Valley, California. The role entails providing both diagnostic and non-complex interventional radiology services, including responsibilities in stroke imaging, emergency department studies, and outpatient procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient hospital radiology coverage
  • Interpret stroke CTs, emergency department, ICU, and inpatient imaging studies
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures and image-guided biopsies
  • Provide outpatient coverage including supervision for contrast-enhanced CT and MRI studies and breast biopsies
  • Manage approximately 50 imaging studies and 4-6 procedures per day

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Active state medical license
  • Completion of an accredited residency program
  • BLS certification
  • DEA registration
  • California Fluoroscopy license
  • Acute care imaging capabilities, including stroke CT interpretation
  • Emergency department and ICU imaging interpretation
  • Experience with non-complex interventional radiology procedures
