Overview

Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Breast Imaging Radiologist to fill the role of Senior Medical Director at their Breast Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. The position offers a supportive work environment with a flexible schedule, and importantly, it requires no call, nights, or weekends.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as Senior Medical Director of the Breast Center
  • Participate in Tumor Board meetings
  • Perform office procedures including stereo biopsies and MRI biopsies
  • Manage an average caseload of 40-50 patients per day
  • Lead and collaborate with a team of medical professionals

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Breast Imaging
  • Fellowship trained in Breast Imaging Radiology
  • Leadership experience (preferred)
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging and patient care
  • Familiarity with digital modalities and ACR accreditation
