Job Description

Overview

The Quality Manager at CFS will lead the quality management system within a manufacturing environment, focusing on process improvements and product quality. This hands-on role requires strong leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet quality standards and enhance operational performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team
  • Oversee and improve the Quality Management System in alignment with IATF 16949
  • Ensure all products meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Establish and track key quality metrics
  • Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits
  • Drive APQP processes and manage PPAP submissions
  • Implement and maintain process controls
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain
  • Manage supplier quality performance and support issue resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Report quality performance to leadership
  • Make final quality-related decisions for product release

Required skills

  • IATF 16949 standards
  • APQP / PPAP processes
  • FMEA, SPC, and MSA methodologies
  • Root cause problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)
  • Leadership and team management
  • Hands-on approach on the production floor
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with supplier and customer quality issues
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
