Overview

The Quality Engineer at U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC will focus on ensuring quality requirements for internal and customer processes are met. This role involves leading continuous improvement efforts, coordinating activities with various departments, and overseeing quality audits and documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet quality requirements and goals for internal and customer quality
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Facilitate continuous improvement through training and communication
  • Lead implementation of software for inspection data management
  • Participate in quality audits to resolve production deficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements
  • Conduct internal quality and process audits

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of automotive manufacturing experience
  • 3 years of Quality Engineer experience
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and project management
  • Knowledge of ISO procedures
  • Critical and creative thinking under stress
  • Proficient in problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities
