Overview

TRINITY ENVISION BUSINESS SERVICES LLC is seeking a Public Works Flood Control Project Manager based in Phoenix, Arizona. The role focuses on leading hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects, flood mitigation initiatives, and FEMA-related studies to ensure high-quality service and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage water resources and flood control projects
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis
  • Perform flood hazard identification and mitigation studies
  • Work on FEMA studies and Area Drainage Master Studies (ADMS/P)
  • Oversee design of stream stabilization, drainage systems, and hydraulic structures
  • Review engineering calculations and perform QA/QC on models
  • Prepare design reports, exhibits, and construction documents
  • Mentor and supervise engineering staff
  • Develop scopes, proposals, and negotiate contracts
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Participate in business development and client marketing

Required skills

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (1D and 2D)
  • Floodplain mapping and watershed planning
  • River mechanics and sediment yield analysis
  • Transportation drainage systems
  • Experience with FLO-2D
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage technical teams and client relationships
