Job Description

Overview

The Public Works Flood Control Project Manager at TRINITY ENVISION BUSINESS SERVICES LLC will lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects and flood mitigation initiatives in Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires a strong background in water resources and surface water while maintaining high-quality delivery and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage water resources and flood control projects
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis
  • Perform flood hazard identification and mitigation studies
  • Work on FEMA studies and Area Drainage Master Studies (ADMS/P)
  • Oversee design of stream stabilization, drainage systems, and hydraulic structures
  • Review engineering calculations and perform QA/QC on models
  • Prepare design reports, exhibits, and construction documents
  • Mentor and supervise engineering staff
  • Develop scopes, proposals, and negotiate contracts
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Participate in business development and client marketing

Required skills

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (1D and 2D)
  • Floodplain mapping and watershed planning
  • River mechanics and sediment yield analysis
  • Transportation drainage systems
  • Experience with FLO-2D
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to manage technical teams and client relationships
