Overview

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a full-time Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as the Chief Medical Officer at Granite Hills Hospital in West Allis, Wisconsin. The role involves providing inpatient treatment and collaborating with the CEO to enhance behavioral health services in the Milwaukee area.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clinical inpatient care and serve as Chief Medical Officer
  • Conduct rounding and admissions for patients
  • Participate in treatment team leadership
  • Complete discharge summaries and manage medications
  • Oversee clinical operations to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Manage medical staff and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Act as a liaison between administration and clinicians

Required skills

  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Wisconsin Medical License or ability to obtain
  • Experience in Clinical Leadership
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Health and Patient Care
  • Experience in Inpatient Care and Treatment Planning
  • Understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Medication Management
