Overview

Palm Careers LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their rural primary care clinic in northern Minnesota. This role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated behavioral health team to provide integrated mental health services to the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and conduct mental illness preventive interventions
  • Conduct individual psychotherapy, family, group, and network therapies as needed
  • Perform health screening and psychiatric evaluation
  • Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological and related medications
  • Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and seek consultation when necessary
  • Refer patients to other providers as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote behavioral health services
