Overview

MASC Medical Recruitment Firm is seeking a Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician to join a thriving practice in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will hold a current unrestricted medical license and be available for a flexible schedule, providing 100% outpatient care while managing a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

  • See 4-12 patients per day
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical history and examination results
  • Analyze records and test results to diagnose medical conditions
  • Make complex diagnoses where illnesses may occur together
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
  • Prescribe or administer medication and therapy to treat or prevent illnesses
  • Monitor patients' conditions and re-evaluate treatments as necessary

Required skills

  • Board Certified Psychiatrist preferred
  • State Medical License in Georgia
  • Experience in outpatient care
  • Ability to work with multiple treatment plan approaches
  • Experience with pediatric patients
