The Property Accountant will work closely with senior leadership while remaining hands on in month end close and financial reporting within a collaborative, fast paced environment. This role is ideal for a Property Accountant who is detail driven, analytical, and eager to deepen real estate accounting expertise while contributing to a high performing team. Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multiple entities and partnerships. Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and related reconciliations. Support month end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis. Assist with budgeting, expense analysis, and financial performance monitoring across properties. Support audits, maintain internal controls, and collaborate with leadership on process improvements. Qualifications for the Property Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1.5-3 years of accounting experience; property or real estate accounting strongly preferred. Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; Yardi experience strongly preferred.
