Overview

As a Propane Cylinder Technician at AmeriGas, you will play a key role in maintaining and servicing propane tanks, ensuring they are safe and operational for customer use. Your responsibilities will include rust removal, recertification, and reporting on the condition of tanks while working in various weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Remove rust on tanks and repaint them
  • Replace necessary parts on tanks
  • Visually recertify tanks
  • Clean up work area daily
  • Identify and report required replacement supplies
  • Provide daily reports on the number of tanks/cylinders completed
