Overview

The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) is seeking a Project Manager for Translational Science - Metabolic Disorders to manage multi-stakeholder research partnerships involving biopharmaceutical companies, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and academic scientists. This mid-level position requires expertise in stakeholder management, project execution, and budget management to support high-impact research initiatives in the field of metabolic disorders.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and guide scientific project meetings, logistics, timelines, budgets, and team members.
  • Support the development and management of contracts for projects related to metabolic disorders.
  • Facilitate discussion among diverse stakeholders and achieve consensus.
  • Ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Proactively identify potential problems and lead teams in problem-solving.
  • Supervise consultants and assume additional responsibilities as needed.

Required skills
