Job Description

Overview

As a Project Manager at Chappell Electric, you will oversee commercial projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet customer expectations and adhere to safety regulations. This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and the ability to drive results within a supportive and open culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Negotiate and establish sales quotes based on product demand and marketplace conditions.
  • Order and manage materials, ensuring inventory efficiency and CEO/President approval.
  • Utilize product knowledge and internal resources to pursue application solutions.
  • Perform mathematical calculations for project tasks and analyze problems effectively.
  • Participate in project estimates and manage labor costs through job forecasting.
  • Oversee pre-con meetings for successful project handoff.
  • Collaborate with prefabrication and design departments.
  • Set clear goals for foreman and estimate change orders as needed.
  • Manage job closeout procedures, RFI's, and submittals.
  • Conduct post-project reviews for improvement insights.
  • Provide coaching to foreman and maintain industry relationships.
