Overview

The H&K Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support public and private projects in Finksburg, Maryland. This role involves administrative and operational support for project managers, focusing on project coordination, documentation management, and communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for project staff and external consultants
  • Maintain filing systems and document control for project-related materials
  • Arrange project meetings and prepare agendas and minutes
  • Handle project-related correspondence effectively and professionally
  • Provide guidance on project lifecycle processes and operating procedures
  • Compile project brochures and presentations and perform data entry and filing

Required skills

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project software
  • Ability to meet physical requirements related to the job
  • Ten years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction preferred
  • Certified PE and OSHA certifications preferred
