Overview

The Production Worker role at Cargill involves contributing to the processing of high-quality food products within the company's protein and salt business. This full-time position is dedicated to ensuring food safety and quality while working as part of a large, global team committed to sustainable practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Trimming to remove fat, hide, defects or contamination from muscle and tissues
  • Supporting roles in the processing of beef
  • General use of a knife or other tools
  • Weighing, labeling, bagging, packing and boxing finished product
  • Ensuring food safety and quality

Required skills

  • Legal eligibility to work in the US
  • At least 18 years old
  • Meat processing experience
  • Previous work experience in food production, manufacturing, or similar environment
  • Knife skills
