Overview

Primo Brands is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Mc Bee, South Carolina. This role is vital for ensuring the operational efficiency of production lines through reactive maintenance and preventative strategies, contributing to the company's mission of providing healthy hydration to consumers.

Key responsibilities

  • Restore machines to operational conditions during runtime failures
  • Complete reactive maintenance on production lines
  • Create retrofits and perform machine tear downs and repairs
  • Conduct creative problem solving for equipment improvements
  • Participate in special projects for equipment upgrades
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance tasks
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and vendors
  • Provide break relief to production operators as needed
  • Operate a forklift to complete various duties

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 or more years in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • PLC experience
  • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP
  • Experience with CMMS or ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in awkward postures as needed
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication
