Overview

Primo Brands is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Mc Bee, South Carolina. The role involves maintaining and restoring equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring production schedules are met while emphasizing mechanical and electrical repair.

Key responsibilities

  • Restore machines to operating conditions during runtime failures
  • Complete reactive maintenance on production lines for equipment failures
  • Create retrofits, perform machine teardown, repair, and assembly
  • Conduct creative problem solving for equipment improvements
  • Participate in special project work for equipment upgrades or installations
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Communicate effectively with team members and vendors
  • Provide break relief to production operators as needed
  • Operate a forklift to complete duties

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications desired
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills; PLC experience preferred
  • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP
  • Experience with CMMS or ERP systems required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Able to handle 50 lbs. and work in awkward postures for extended periods
  • Strong English language skills for effective communication
