Overview

Syngenta Seeds is looking for a Production and Supply Development Program Associate to join their Vegetable Operations team in Fremont, California. This position is designed for students graduating between December 2025 and May 2026 and focuses on developing future leaders within the organization through diverse rotational experiences across various functions in the vegetable business.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in a rotational program providing exposure to seed production, processing, research, operations, and quality control
  • Gain technical knowledge and practical experience in various areas of the vegetable business
  • Receive coaching and mentoring to support professional development
  • Engage in cross-functional leadership training
  • Assist in data analysis and project management tasks

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Systems Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Plant o
  • Data Science experience
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Prior Internship or Co-op experience in the agriculture industry
  • Strong foundation in plant biology, genetics, and agronomy
  • Knowledge of vegetable crop production and management techniques
  • Understanding of seed production processes and quality standards
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data management tools
  • Ability to plan and execute field trials and research projects
  • Knowledge of breeding principles and genetic analysis
