Overview

EMM LOANS LLC is looking for a full-time, experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join their growing branch in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role is crucial in processing residential mortgage loans, adhering to investor guidelines, and involves significant interaction with management and external parties to ensure pipeline management and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of 25-30 loans
  • Process both Purchase and Refinance Transactions, primarily focusing on Purchase loans
  • Review rate lock expiration dates and closing dates
  • Communicate loan terms, conditions, and processes to borrowers via phone and email
  • Coordinate with external parties, including real estate agents, title companies, and appraisal companies
  • Run automated underwriting and submit a complete package to underwriting
  • Review all income and asset documentation for accuracy
  • Schedule loans for closing and order payoffs

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years processing experience
  • Working knowledge of FNMA/FHA/VA/USDA guidelines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient math skills
  • Fluency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of Encompass is a plus
