Overview

EMM LOANS LLC is looking for a full-time, experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to support their growing branch in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This remote-friendly position requires candidates to work during EST business hours and offers a dynamic environment focused on processing residential mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with investor guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of 25-30 loans
  • Process both purchase and refinance transactions, focusing on purchase loans
  • Review rate lock expiration dates and communicate with the Branch Manager on loan status
  • Communicate with borrowers regarding conditions, changes to loan terms, and the closing process
  • Coordinate with external parties such as real estate agents, title companies, and appraisal companies
  • Run automated underwriting and submit complete packages to underwriting
  • Review income and asset documentation for borrower qualification
  • Conduct compliance audits and verify the accuracy of documentation
  • Schedule loans for closing and review final numbers

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years processing experience
  • Working knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA, USDA, DU, LP
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient math skills
  • Fluent in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office
  • Knowledge of Encompass is a plus
