Overview

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician Lead in Medina, Ohio, to enhance their manufacturing operations through effective team management and technical expertise. Key responsibilities

  • Train, develop and manage technicians to meet business needs
  • Act as back-up Team Leader as needed
  • Relieve Production Techs for breaks and lunches
  • Inspect line set-ups and continuously monitor operations
  • Troubleshoot & repair machinery using mechanical & electrical skills
  • Control scrap, reliability and quality through process checks
  • Work with Team Lead on the performance evaluation process
  • Drive safety, quality, scrap and reliability action items
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 2 year Technical degree and/or related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar leadership role
  • Experience in Plastics manufacturing preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
