Job Description

Overview

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time PRN Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound and related studies on patients of all ages. This role includes evaluating exam appropriateness, scheduling, and some travel between sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound, physiologic, and duplex studies
  • Schedule and obtain history from patients
  • Evaluate appropriateness of requested exams
  • Assist with procedures
  • Travel between sites as needed

Required skills

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN certification
  • Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification within one year of hire
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in science or Allied Health field (preferred)
