Overview

Eagle Title is seeking an experienced Pre-Closing Processor to join their team in Prince Frederick, Maryland. This full-time position involves processing, closing, and reviewing residential title files while ensuring compliance and a smooth settlement experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Take a residential title file from inception through closing with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, settlement statements, mortgages, deeds, and policies of title insurance
  • Verify monetary amounts to satisfy mortgages, taxes, and judgments, and oversee collection of fees associated with settlement
  • Prepare and review necessary documents for settlement
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, and real estate agents for smooth settlement process
  • Review legal documentation for accuracy, notarization, and proper submission
  • Update proprietary software with follow-ups, results, and data entry
