Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a part-time Geriatrician in Lafayette, TN, to provide modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and no weekend or night shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Perform clinical documentation in real-time during clinical rounds
  • Manage a mobile practice visiting multiple facilities daily
  • Participate in paid training and a 6-month wound care fellowship

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in Tennessee
  • Experience in geriatrics and wound management
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation processes
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain flexibility
  • Proficiency in proprietary wound specific EMR
