VieMed Healthcare Staffing is looking for a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join their hospital-based practice in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment where the focus is on improving patient vision and overall eye health through comprehensive eye care services.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams
  • Diagnose vision problems and recommend appropriate treatments
  • Integrate into the team with thorough EMR training and shadowing
  • Work flexible hours, including potential extra hours at other locations

Required skills

  • Valid Optometry License and Board Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Bilingual skills, preferably Spanish
  • Experience with EMR systems
