Overview

Valley West Health Care Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join their dedicated team in Eugene, Oregon. The role involves providing direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients, focusing on enhancing their functional progress and quality of life in a supportive environment. The center prioritizes community health and has a strong commitment to quality care, ensuring a collaborative approach in patient treatment.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients
  • Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals
  • Oversee and evaluate care given by PTAs and Rehab Aides
  • Chart patient care appropriately and timely
  • Utilize therapy software accurately
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT)
  • Currently registered/licensed in the applicable state
  • One year of experience preferred, new grads welcome
  • CPR certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing post-acute care functions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong reasoning skills and good judgment
