Overview

WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician for locums coverage in Urbana, Illinois. The position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or calls, allowing for a collaborative and supportive working environment focused on patient rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide coverage on the inpatient rehab floor
  • Manage and oversee patient rehabilitation plans
  • Coordinate care and support recovery for patients with diverse physical and neurological conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain a daily census and patient load consistent with rehab floor standards

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-Certified
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Active Illinois State License
  • ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR certifications
  • Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic
