Overview

Vensure Employer Services is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Associate to join their team in Saint Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will manage a high volume caseload involving motor vehicle and premises liability matters, guiding cases from pre-litigation through trial with direct client interaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution
  • Handle pre-litigation workup, including client interviews and investigation
  • Litigate cases in Missouri and Illinois state courts, including pleadings and discovery
  • Take and defend depositions of parties and experts
  • Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
  • Serve as first or second chair at jury trials
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and opposing counsel
  • Participate in case valuation and strategy discussions

Required skills

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active licensure in Missouri and Illinois
  • Minimum of five years of substantive personal injury experience
  • Experience with motor vehicle and premises liability cases
  • Demonstrated litigation experience
  • Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
