This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your extensive legal expertise across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and more, to support our mission of safeguarding assets and ensuring legal compliance. As a key contributor, you will provide strategic legal counsel, conduct thorough research, prepare court motions, and assist with litigation processes-all while maintaining a flexible schedule that complements your professional commitments. Your proactive approach and strong negotiation skills will be instrumental in advancing our organizational objectives and protecting client interests.Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development across various legal disciplines such as securities law, tribal law, patent law, and employment law. Draft and review contracts, legal motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. Prepare for trial by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and assisting with trial preparation activities. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software to ensure timely updates and compliance with procedural laws. Participate in court depositions and assist attorneys during litigation proceedings to advocate effectively for clients. Engage in statutory legal research to interpret laws relevant to personal injury cases, landlord-tenant disputes, workers' compensation claims, and other areas of practice. Communicate clearly with clients regarding case status, legal options, and procedural requirements while maintaining professionalism and empathy.Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in general & commercial litigation, personal injury law, employment law cases, or related fields. Strong knowledge of procedural law and experience preparing legal motions and court depositions. Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and workers' compensation law is highly desirable. Excellent research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms to gather pertinent legal information efficiently. Exceptional writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients while maintaining ethical standards. Experience with legal case management systems and familiarity with court procedures is preferred.
