Overview

Messerli Kramer is a well-established law firm in the Twin Cities, seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join their Business Litigation team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support throughout the litigation process, collaborating with attorneys, and managing various legal tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Organizing case files and tracking deadlines
  • Drafting and formatting legal documents such as pleadings and motions
  • Managing document collection, review, and production for e-discovery
  • Liaising with clients and preparing witnesses for trial
  • Conducting legal research to support arguments
  • Assisting attorneys in trial preparations and court appearances
  • Managing projects across different practice groups

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • E-Discovery knowledge, preferably with Everlaw or similar tools
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to establish professional working relationships
