Job Description

Overview

The Litigation Paralegal at Kanner & Pintaluga will work closely with attorneys to assist in ongoing cases and prepare for trials. The role involves various support tasks, including maintaining case files, preparing legal documents, and communicating with clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain attorney's calendar
  • Schedule depositions, meetings, and hearings
  • Manage document organization using Microsoft Office tools
  • E-file legal documents in state and federal courts
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and conferences
  • Draft legal court documents such as pleadings and motions
  • Send correspondence to clients and non-parties
  • Set up Court Calls or Zoom for hearings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 2+ years of litigation experience
  • Trial experience preferred
  • E-filing experience in state and federal courts preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Effective communication skills
  • Teamwork oriented
