Overview

Curry Supply Company is seeking a Painter to join their team in East Freedom, Pennsylvania. The role involves performing various tasks in the paint shop, including applying paint using spray and other methods, while ensuring adherence to safety and organizational policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties to support the paint shop
  • Apply paint, seam sealer, and decals using gravity fed gun
  • Organize work according to directions
  • Keep the paint shop orderly, clean, and safe
  • Coordinate work tasks with other personnel and departments
  • Abide by laws and policies promoting a harassment-free workplace
  • Report pertinent information to the supervisor as requested
  • Respond to inquiries related to the work area

Required skills

  • High school diploma
  • Vocational training and on-the-job experience preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in related positions
  • Knowledge of conventional spray/plural component systems
  • Basic paint, prep, and blasting procedures
  • Ability to work with air/hand tools
  • Ability to lift items weighing 40 lbs. or less
  • Experience operating heavy machinery and power tools

What the company offers
