Location: Loveland, COPosition Type: Permanent Full-Time Nurse Practitioner Trauma Surgery Overview Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide overnight Trauma and Acute Care Surgery coverage in a hospital-based setting. This role focuses on high-acuity trauma and emergency general surgery patients with strong physician collaboration and autonomous practice. Practice Highlights Overnight coverage: 7:00 PM 7:00 AMTrauma and Acute Care Surgery inpatient servicesManage trauma and emergency general surgery patientsSupport trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing careWork autonomously with physician and multidisciplinary collaborationEMR: EpicParticipation in mentorship, leadership development, and continuing education programsSystem-wide name clearance required Schedule & Coverage Full-time overnight shiftsPermanent role only (no locums or locum-to-perm)Hospital-based inpatient coverage Candidate Requirements Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN required)NP certification by ANCC or AANPCB REQUIREDUnrestricted Colorado license REQUIREDEligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment REQUIREDBLS certification (no exemptions) REQUIREDMinimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience OR completion of a surgical fellowship HIGHLY PREFERREDNot accepting fresh graduatesNo visa sponsorship available (no J-1 or H-1B)Clean malpractice and license history preferredNo sanctions/exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA REQUIRED Compensation & Benefits CME allowance up to $3,500 + 5 CME days403(b) retirement plan with employer match + optional 457(b)Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insuranceEmployer-paid short- and long-term disabilityPaid time off starting day onePaid family and medical leave (including Colorado FAMLI)Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible Why Loveland, CO?
