Job Description

Overview

The Medicus Firm is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgery Physician to join a collaborative orthopedic group in Indiana, conveniently located near Chicago. This role offers a flexible 4-day workweek focused on elective hand surgery with a supportive staff and modern facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform elective hand surgeries with no trauma cases
  • Participate in a shared 1:6 general orthopedic call rotation
  • Utilize modern facilities and equipment, including Mako robotic technology
  • Build a full hand practice with immediate referral base
  • Collaborate with a strong support staff, including First Assist NP and APPs

Required skills

  • MD or DO required
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Orthopedic Hand Surgery or equivalent
  • Experience in patient care and surgical procedures
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
