Ophthalmology practice seeking its first Optometrist to join its practice program. The Optometrist will complement their anterior segment and refractive surgeons. Office is open Monday-Friday, no weekends. 150k-200k base salary based on experience, sign-on bonus between $5k-$15k, plus productivity bonus, and full benefits. Responsibilities include: Diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, Complete and Annual Eye Exams, Refractions, Contact Lens Fittings, Surgical Consultations for Cataract and Refractive Procedures, Collaborative team care with all ophthalmologists of the practice and clinical team.Job Duties: candidates would provide primary, medical and peri-operative care including examinations for glasses and contacts, pre- and post-surgical examinations, medical evaluations and management of chronic ocular conditions. Able to provide full scope optometry including routine eye exams. Medical cases. Advise patients on proper eye care techniques.
