Job Description

Overview

Intervala, LLC is seeking an Optical Inspection Operator for their 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am, Monday through Thursday. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure they meet quality standards and requirements, playing a crucial part in the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

  • Review AOI output to assess PCBA quality
  • Identify recurring manufacturing defects and collaborate with team members to resolve issues
  • Catch false calls and fine-tune AOI programs
  • Log defects in the MES system
  • Recommend improvements for documentation leading to better quality outcomes
  • Assist with x-ray inspection as needed
  • Continuously develop inspection and AOI skills through training

Required skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong visual inspection skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and data handling
  • Patience and focus for repetitive tasks
  • Basic understanding of electronic components
  • Strong communication and decision-making abilities
  • IPC-610 certification required within 3-6 months
