Overview

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician to join their team in Denver, Colorado. This role involves working with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care, develop treatment plans, and oversee radiation therapy processes. The physician will be part of a well-respected oncology practice within a supportive healthcare system focused on extraordinary care and continuous provider development.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop personalized treatment plans for oncology patients.
  • Determine appropriate radiation doses and oversee the treatment process.
  • Manage potential side effects of radiation therapy.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals for quality care.
  • Participate in mentorship and leadership roles.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient management.

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
  • Residency or Fellowship trained in Radiation Oncology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
  • Active Colorado medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • A minimum of 1 year of Radiation Oncology experience.
  • Experience performing brachytherapy procedures is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Varian hardware and software for treatment planning.
