Overview

KAWEAH HEALTH is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their radiation oncology team in Visalia, California. This role involves working in a specialized, patient-centered environment to support patients throughout their cancer treatment journey alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups
  • Manage symptoms and educate patients and families on treatment plans
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Assist with day-to-day clinical operations and patient care tasks

Required skills

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in California
  • Strong clinical skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Oncology or radiation oncology experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
