Overview

The Onboarding Specialist at Whitney M Young Jr Health Center plays a crucial role in integrating new hires into the organization. This role involves managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring compliance and a positive experience for new employees.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide new hires through the onboarding process
  • Manage pre-employment background checks and health clearances
  • Coordinate new employee orientation and present HR topics
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Assist with employee benefits paperwork and resolve related issues
  • Prepare and update employee security/access badges
  • Support recruiting efforts and respond to job inquiries
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external parties
