Overview

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant to provide quality care and enhance leadership skills within a dynamic medical team. This role offers the opportunity to impact patient lives positively while focusing on compliance and operational excellence in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat occupational medicine patients according to Agile's medical practice model
  • Complete all medical record documentation prior to the end of shift
  • Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure operations meet medical standards
  • Maintain compliance with State Practice Acts and Workers Compensation regulations
  • Cultivate relationships with center clients and payers, responding to requests promptly
  • Manage clinical and support staffing levels to optimize patient satisfaction and workflows
  • Promote a collaborative and quality-focused work environment

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
  • Unrestricted California PA or NP license (or in progress)
  • Active DEA registration
  • Current BLS and AED certification
  • NRCME (DOT Medical Examiner) certification or ability to obtain
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical record applications
