Overview

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Medical Director of Occupational Medicine to provide healthcare services to client employees at their Health Center in Denver, CO. The role involves conducting patient assessments, providing medical treatment, overseeing clinical practices, and engaging in policy development, while maintaining a focus on high-quality healthcare.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct histories, physical exams, and prescribe medical treatment
  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services including episodic, preventive, and occupational care
  • Oversee site clinical practices and procedures
  • Participate in annual health center goal development
  • Drive outcomes across clinical programs
  • Develop clinical and administrative policies and guidelines
  • Support assessment of clinical quality and cultural fit for prospective physician candidates
  • Teach, train, and mentor site physicians and staff providers
  • Collaborate with operations team to enhance member engagement and utilization

Required skills

  • Licensed to practice medicine in each state of practice
  • Federal DEA license
  • Board certification or eligibility in relevant medical field
  • CPR certification
  • 3-5 years in emergency room, ambulatory care, or occupational health settings
  • 3 years of management or leadership experience in healthcare
