Overview

Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner for their Capital Women's Care practice in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role involves providing comprehensive women's healthcare, including patient examinations, screenings, and pre- and post-natal care, while collaborating closely with physicians.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform patient exams, screenings, and treatments
  • Record patient health history
  • Prescribe medications and therapies
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
  • Provide pre and post-natal care and family planning services
  • Educate and counsel patients
  • Collaborate with physicians to enhance patient care

Required skills

  • National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
  • Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
  • Strong communication skills with patients and team members
  • Decision-making based on medical best practices
  • One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
