Job Description

Overview

As an MRI Technologist at Holy Cross Hospital, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care through MRI examinations in a collaborative environment. The role requires administering contrast media to patients and ensuring the quality of imaging using PACS and RIS systems, all while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations accurately and proficiently
  • Understand and apply protocols for each exam
  • Operate PACS and RIS systems according to protocols
  • Administer contrast media to patients
  • Demonstrate knowledge of magnetic physics and safety procedures
  • Serve patients of all age groups from infants to older adults

Required skills

  • Florida CRT License
  • ARRT certification
  • ARRT (MR) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • At least one year of MRI experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and safety procedures
  • Team collaboration skills
