Overview

Home Financial Group LLC is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor Assistant to support the processing of Refinance and Purchase Loan applications in compliance with mortgage lending and investor guidelines. This full-time role offers a flexible work environment and competitive compensation.

Key responsibilities

  • Review loan application files to ensure data completeness and compliance with standards
  • Process specialty mortgage products such as 203k, Homestyle, Foreign National, Non-QM, and Commercial Loans
  • Analyze loan applications for credit worthiness and repayment likelihood
  • Review AUS/Guidelines relevant to loan products and sale structures
  • Monitor the loan processing stages and manage expectations for clients and third parties
  • Prepare commitment letters and facilitate sign-off procedures
  • Identify due dates and ensure loan readiness for closing
  • Prepare initial Closing Disclosure within the required TRID timeframes
  • Perform clerical duties such as maintaining files and organizing documents

Required skills

  • High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • 2+ years of experience in Mortgage Loan Processing
  • Calyx experience preferred
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional Loans
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects
